Dear Kolb Middle School Families,
Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year! Excitement is growing in Cougar Country as we have planned an amazing year for our new and returning students and families. As the principal of Kolb Middle School, I am grateful to be a part of the amazing and dedicated team of teachers and support staff that earned the honor, this past June, of the National Schools to Watch award for its dedication in supporting the whole child through social, emotional, and academic growth.We look forward to partnering with you throughout this school year to ensure the success of your child. Through our partnership, we can create a supportive and enriching learning environment that prepares your child for future challenges and opportunities. We are confident that this school year holds great promise and potential, together we can accomplish great things!

Welcome Letter 2023-2024 (English and Spanish)

Free Student Academic Enrichment
Rialto Unified School District is offering FREE Academic Enrichment for students in grades TK through 8th grade during non-instructional days (see available dates below). In partnership with Think Together, students will receive academic enrichment focusing on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics). The program hours will be from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. For more information and to register, CLICK HERE. El Distrito Escolar Unificado de Rialto va ofrecer Enriquecimiento Académico GRATUITO para estudiantes en los grados TK a 8vo grado durante los dÃas sin instrucción (vea las fechas disponibles abajo). En asociación con Think Together, los estudiantes recibirán enriquecimiento académico centrado en STEAM (Ciencia, TecnologÃa, IngenierÃa, Artes y Matemáticas). CAASPP State Testing Schedule
CAASPP Testing for Language Arts is on April 24th, 25th (during 2nd Period) and testing for Math will be on May 1st and May 2nd (during 3rd Period). The 8th graders will be taking the CAST on May 6-10 in their Science class. All testing days for Language Arts and Math will be minimum days, and dismissal will be at 12:35 pm. We ask that all medical and dental appointments be made after dismissal on these testing days to minimize disruptions and give our students the best opportunity to succeed. We will keep you posted on any additional scheduling information as we get closer to testing days.

"Salesforce is now live for student enrollment and parents can begin enrolling students for Fall 2023 using the new registration link -> Salesforce Registration. Filling this out does not guarantee your student a spot in the program, it is simply and enrollment form to let the Site Coordinator know you are interested in signing up.
